IoT Project Manager
Near Sea Technologies, Portugal

We are looking for a IoT Project Manager to join our partner, a global climate tech company expanding all over the world.

The team develops critical operating software to help clients save energy.

• You are a part of the Tech operations team of 20 talented individuals and are one of 5 Project managers .
• Manage projects for implementing IoT solutions
• Develop methodologies, processes, and procedures for planning and controlling the installation of renewable power plants and community deployment work in terms of execution time, costs, and guarantee/quality control
• Plan and manage suppliers, project execution, and supervise equipment installation, construction work, and implementation of CW’s solutions
• Coordinate internal team members and supplier technical teams;
• Prepare all project documentation and reporting according to CW’s quality processes, procedures, and tools;
• Comply with the company quality and safety policy;
• Provide positive and negative feedback to effectively improve the team performance;
• Develop people competencies with a view beyond the project lifespan;
• Build trust-based relationships with stakeholders (internal and external);
• Support the sales process, with a focus in recurrent business and change requests.

Requirements

• 5 years+ experience in Project Management, preferably in the installation of electrical engineering systems;
• Degree or masters in electrical, mechanics engineering or equivalent;
• Experience in project planning, risk analysis, and scope and cost management, as well as customer management;
• Exposure to industries such as energy markets, energy communities, and smart grids;
• Knowledge in Software Quality Assurance best practices;
• Training and certification in Project Management like PMO or equivalent (Plus);
• Excellent documentation and communication skills;
• Experienced in conflict resolution, within the team, and with customers;
• Driving license and availability to travel;
• Fluency in English and Portuguese.
