Senior QA Automation Engineer
Translucent, Portugal

• You’ll join the founding and experienced Engineering team of an exciting new data startup, with funding in place, and validated customer demand.
• You’ll collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure high quality, performance and reliability of our product.
• You will be working with financial and accounting data from source through to the myriad applications of the data.

Requirements

• Beingbased and authorised to workin Portugal (we are not sponsoring visas).
• Enjoying breaking things and finding issues before they become bottlenecks.
• Proficiency in defects and bug analysis, as well as reporting, tracking, and retesting.
• Be an advocate for quality by helping engineers investigate and prevent issues. Create and execute test plans, test cases, and automated tests to ensure product quality.
• Work closely with the product team to ensure all features are well-defined, tested thoroughly, and launched successfully.
• Have experience with load testing practices and tools like Gatling and k6.
• Experience in test automation engineering.
• Experience working with Typescript and test automation frameworks namely Playwright or WebdriverIO or Puppeteer.
• Experience with API testing.
• Experience with Security testing is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD frameworks and tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Experience tracking quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.
• Experience being part of a high-growth startup or tech company.
• Excellent communication (in English) skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Benefits

• Salary: Up to 90k p.a. + option package.
• Holidays: 23 days p.a. + the days between Christmas amp; New Year + Public Holidays.
