.The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to lead our external financial reporting as a stock listed company and other regulatory financial reporting. This role is critical in supporting our strategic decision-making process at Yubico. You will be part of the finance leadership team and report directly to the CFO, your role will be crucial in the processes of group consolidation and external reporting.Tasks and Responsibilities:- Responsible for the group’s external financial reporting as a stock listed company
- Responsible for statutory reporting and income tax returns in the parent company and subsidiaries outside of Americas
- Responsible for accounting principles and compliance with the principles and other financial policies throughout the group
- Oversee company financial systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies
- Implement and monitor effective financial controls and procedures
- Collaborate with external auditors and ensure preparation for the yearly audits
- Advise on financial implications of business decisions and strategies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department
Basic Qualifications:- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a group consolidation and external reporting in stock listed companies as a group financial controller in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience in financial management and reporting
- Strong understanding of Swedish GAAP and IFRS. Knowledge of the US GAAP is beneficial
- Excellent analytical, decision-making skills
- Fluency in English and Swedish
Skills:- Proficient in financial software, Google Office Suite and Microsoft Excel
- Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Capable of thriving in a high-paced work setting while aiming for excellence
- Brings a positive demeanor and energy, along with a passion for continuous improvement and change
