About you
We are looking for an early-stage career tester who genuinely desires to excel in this discipline and is an agile enthusiast. A person with strong character and communication skills willing to learn how to undertake requirements analysis and identify and raise risks. Someone who wants to gain experience in good test practice within the software development lifecycle and wants to learn how to analyse and apply a pragmatic and context-driven approach to any testing.
Requirements
Skills through education or experience
1-year development/test automation experience (Java, Javascript, Groovy, Ruby)
Defect Management
Awareness of Agile Continuous Integration principles

ISEB/ISTQB Foundation

BDD and Cucumber
Awareness of industry tools, languages, and models how and why they are used Java, Ruby, Cucumber, TDD/BDD, OWASP ZAP, Jira, JMeter, Jenkins, Git/Gerrit, Mercurial/Rhodecode, Appium, Perfecto
Maintains a personal development plan
An active participant in industry webinars, meet-ups, LinkedIn groups etc.
Version Control and Code Review Systems (Git, Github, Gerrit)
Requirements and test management tools for manual testing, planning and reporting (Jira or similar)
