• Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with industry best practices. -
• Oversee the design and execution of security awareness training programs to educate employees about information security risks and best practices. -
• Lead incident response efforts, including investigations, analysis, containment, and reporting of security incidents. -
• Monitor the effectiveness of security controls and implement improvements as necessary to mitigate emerging threats and vulnerabilities. -
• Stay abreast of the latest security technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their adoption based on the organization's needs and risk profile. -
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards, such as GDPR or ISO 27001. -
• Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors involved in the provision of security services, ensuring their adherence to contractual obligations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; a master's degree is strongly preferred. -
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing information security in a complex, multi-site organization. -
• In-depth knowledge of information security frameworks, standards, and best practices, such as ISO 27001, NIST, or COBIT. -
• Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including data protection and privacy requirements. -
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. -
• Experience leading incident response efforts and managing security incidents. -
• Current industry certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, are highly desirable. -
• Experience in the computer software industry or a related field is a plus.
