Sys Admin (AWS Migration)

We are looking for a Sys Admin to join a project at a leading software development company.

One of the main objectives of this position is to be involved in the migration from on-premises to AWS Cloud.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or a related field;
• Minimum of 2 years of experience;
• Experience with virtualized environments such as VMWare, KVM, and oVirt;
• Proficiency in AWS infrastructure, utilizing Cloudformation/CDK, with knowledge of P2V and V2P migration;
• Mastery of products: RDS, Load Balancer, EC2, and Cache;
• Management of Load-Balancer platforms: AWS, HAProxy, or Nginx (Layer 4 and Layer 7);
• Maintenance, installation, and configuration of Linux Kernels (plus knowledge of rpm and bed package systems);
• Experience in process automation using tools like Jenkins and Puppet;
• Management and maintenance of Windows Servers;
• Implementation of VPN with technologies: OpenVPN, pfSense, BGP, and StrongSWAN (IPSec);
• Maintenance of databases such as MS SQL Server, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL (plus);
• Training/Certification in CCNA, AWSAR, and RHCE (plus);
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative team player;
• A positive attitude and a curious mindset.
