It's an exciting time to join Yubico, where the company recently completed its IPO on Nasdaq First North and now plans to further strengthen its position as a global cybersecurity company. The Yubico Legal department is now looking for a talented individual to join this growing team to allow for continued timely provision of effective and high quality legal support for our business as we continue to scale. The role is mainly focused on commercial, compliance and product support to our internal business partners, all the while working closely with Finance, Yubico Enterprise Security, and other teams. The successful candidate must work well in a fast paced environment, become an enthusiastic part of a collaborative team, and care for the company, its mission and its people.Tasks Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate, draft and interpret contracts, assisting management in the negotiation of terms, minimizing risk, and protecting the company's interests
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and ethical standards that affect business activities
  • Respond promptly and effectively to legal requests from sales, supply chain, product, operations, engineering, marketing, finance and other internal clients, and advise on recommended courses of action and legal risks
  • Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders
  • Help to identify and brief management on potential and actual legal exposures, and take appropriate proactive and remedial measures
  • Handle special projects as requested
Skills Experience:
  • Qualified lawyer in Sweden and/or England with at least 4+ years in-house legal experience in a multinational environment;
  • Experience from cross-jurisdictional work
  • Must have a service-oriented mindset as part of a Gamp;A function within the company
  • A practical, business-oriented approach to problem-solving with the ability to effectively counsel internal clients by providing them with clear, concise advice, and creative solutions where necessary on established timelines to meet their business needs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, action-oriented, business judgment, strategic thinking, flexibility and ability to work independently
  • Ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams and manage numerous projects simultaneously and provide timely advice
  • Experience with Open Source licensing
  • Superior language, written and verbal communication skills required in both English and Swedish
  • Exposure to cybersecurity solutions and hardware products is a huge plus
