Job Description
The Experimentation Platform team at Spotify is a skilled and highly engaged group of engineers that are distributed over 6 locations in Europe. Today they are running simultaneous experiments across several hundreds of teams working on a multitude of different products built for hundreds of millions of users. Experimentation touches almost all of Spotify’s functions from marketing via content management to consumer products. Recently the team also announced Confidence, the commercial version of the Experimentation Platform.
As an engineer in the Experimentation Platform product area, you’ll be working on hard problems that bring value to our internal and external customers. You will play an instrumental role in improving the experimentation experience for teams at Spotify and around the world.What You’ll Do- You have a consistent record of breaking down sophisticated technical problems into small, achievable pieces and iterating quickly in a startup-like environment.
- You’ve shipped high-impact code and have shown the ability to pragmatically take solutions from conceptualization to production. Specifically, you have a record of directly contributing to the creation of data platforms or developer experiences.
- You demonstrate a specialty in writing impactful, well-patterned Java services and a strong understanding of systems design, data structures, and algorithms.
- You love to work directly with internal and external customers. Not only do you have a passion for building robust solutions, but also represent and promote directly with customers and stakeholders.
- You are a strong communicator and collaborator and want to contribute to an ever-improving user experience built on partnerships with customers, product managers, and engineering leadership in an emerging B2B business model.
